Unfortunately, no. Each printer type utilizes different processes to create the imprint. Here’s what makes them tick. A thermal printer can usually be set up to print either direct thermal or thermal transfer label materials. A thermal printer set up to print a thermal transfer label utilizes a wax, wax/resin, or resin ribbon between the printhead and label to “transfer” the imprint onto the top coated label. A direct thermal label may utilize the same printer, but doesn’t require the ribbon as the material itself is coated to react to the printhead heat. An inkjet printer actually sprays very small droplets of ink onto a specialized label surface which is designed to receive this specific type of ink.

All of our stock products are packaged in box quantities. Therefore, 1 box is the minimum that may be ordered.
